Today is April 1. Also known as April Fool’s Day. When I woke up this morning around 6:15 am, I saw snow on the ground. Argh! Is this a joke? Ha ha, very funny… *dry laugh*
As I was driving to drop my son off to daycare then to work, I heard the radio announced some more snow showers for the rest of the day. No! Don’t they know they can’t mention the S-word anymore? By that, I mean ‘snow’. Everybody here had grown weary of this prolonging snow. By this time last year, I’ve seen flowers blooming… tree leaves changing colors… so gorgeous. This time? Grass is still brown, trees are still ‘bald’, no colorful flowers in sight.
*Sigh*
Up north of you, we only got major snow storms during December and at the end of March.
We got quite a bit of snow yesterday, but its all melting now.
oh din i feel ya…. i’m so sick of my winter jacket. i can’t wait to see green color, i can’t wait to walk in park on sunny day 😦
We don’t have snow anymore since the past few days. But the weather is still bloody confusing…
In Bandung, We’ve got some ice rain… ice blocks strikes Bandung!!! and rainstorm made some trees broken.
Fortunately, I didn’t get some pain, but a doctoral student of my college got pain in her car. Sad….
It’s weird, because April is usually dry season.
-salam kenal-
We have the F-word frequently mentioned here in Indonesia. By that, i mean… flood, hehe.
@dan and vita: did spring miss you guys’ area too? :p
@finallywoken: ditto here, it’s hard to plan on what to wear for work anymore. if it says ‘50% chance of rain in the morning, then sunny with high of 49’ that could mean i should wear a heavy winter coat in the morning, then bring a lighter spring jacket for later on. it is confusing!
@ari: salam kenal juga… bandung got hit by the icy rain, huh? how big was it? i guess it’s big enough to ruin somebody’s car. what is up with the wetaher lately?
@ichi: lol banget @ the f-word a.k.a flood *that’s a good one!*
selamat hari salju, diny 😉 anyway, just got some articles whilst away from home >> bandung and bekasi got icy rain.
yesterday afternoon was a blast. beautiful sky. blue, orange, purple, yellow. come?
@arie: welcome back from aussie… this may sound crazy, but i miss those hot sticky days in jakarta. especially when we’re sweating like crazy in sentul, lol :p
@meltje: rub it in, won’t you? grrr…
The car was stroked by the broken trees.
Mostly the big of ices are as same as marbles. So, the car wasn’t ruined by those ices.
