May She Rots In Hell
We don’t know why a mother would kill another mother’s child. -Sgt. Tony Sheneman, Tracy Police Department (West California), on Melissa Huckaby’s killing an 8 year old girl.
Not only she killed the 8 year old Sandra Cantu after kidnapping her, but also rape the girl with a foreign object and lewd or lascivious act with her. After done killing the little girl, she put Sandra in a suitcase and dumped it in a pond. Melissa Huckaby (28) is a Sunday school teacher at her grandfather’s church where he’s a priest at. According to KTLA News, authorities believe Sandra was killed in the church next to the trailer park where both the Huckaby and the girl’s family live.
I’m flabbergasted. Dumbfounded. Stupefied. Thunderstrucked.
How could you do that to a little girl? To take someone’s life is mind boggling, but to take it out of a small child who’s only eight year old and couldn’t fight back? What a coward, psycho, low life individual. Sandra probably just learned how to spell ‘t-e-c-h-n-o-l-o-g-y’. Or she just learned how to do a two-digit addition. How could you do such horrible things to a young human being who probably did not know how to hate yet?
And the fact that the killer is a Sunday school teacher, daughter of a priest and a mother herself? How could she do such an evil thing while she’s brought up full of religious values? How would she be able of caring and loving her own child but terminate her child’s playmate?
My daughter is the same age as Sandra. She’s also a second grader. She also has brown hair. It’s probably why I got emotional reading this news. But on her public memorial service, a lot of people cried. Even big, beefy guys in biker’s outfit. Somebody said, “We were praying everyday, and everyone thought that Sandra would come home OK.”
Maybe God was too busy to save Sandra’s life. Maybe God’s not there. Maybe there’s no God.
I know I don’t have the patience of an angel, I yelled at my daughter when I got impatient. I spanked here when she was smaller. But to torture and then kill? I will never understand the reason why this demonic woman slayed Sandra.
If she’s proven guilty, I hope she’d get tortured in prison. I hope she’d rot in a place she’d call HELL.

Oh my God, it is terrifying to learn what a human being can do to an innocent little girl like. In such a way too. I have an 8 years old little girl myself and the news shivers me to shock! What an horror!!
I agree with you, may she rots in the DEEPEST hell.
Terrible story. People sometimes prove to be totally nuts or having fits of craziness or are suffering from psychotic attacks. But apparent normal people who hide the darkest demons and absolutely evil like this lady, are beyond comprehension.
Fortunately this is an extreme exception. Though not as exceptional as one would want. Because there are pretty recent similar cases I know of. Over the last few years three of them in our small country alone: small children – between two and ten years old- who were severely abused over a long period, ultimately killed and cut into pieces before they corpses were dumped. And, what’s worse, these atrocities were committed by by one, or both parents.
She ? What on earth a sunday school teacher and a mother can do like that ?
What is the reason ? Was she under psychiatric treatment ?
Can’t believe it.. it’s so cruel.
There’s a case in Indonesia where the parents, the mom and his step father, spanked her own children, a lil boy till death, just because of anger

Terrible story. Frightening. Beyond comprehension.
Well, we all know some people behave sometimes strange. Some behave like they are nuts. Others seriously loose their temper every now and then. And quite a number of people suffer from psychoses and loose contact with reality. And love affairs sometimes end in a “crime passionel”. Most of us can’t imagine it can happen to them.
But this is different. This is about a seemingly “normal”person who obviously was hiding a herd of pitch black demons. A psychopathic time bomb – maybe with a faulty genetic make up which was activated by the specific circumstances.
These cases are extremely exceptional fortunately, but not as exceptional as one would want them to be. And it can be worse.
Maybe we can not be to sure that the usual social behavior of people is as rooted as we usually assume. In the last ten years for instance in the Netherlands alone at least four little children ( 2 – 10 y/o) were severely abused over a long period of time,were ultimately murdered and cut into pieces before the murderers dumped their remains in a lake and rivers respectively. These murderers weren’t creepy strangers, but their parents. Creepy parents.
condolence for the girl. I think, no matter you looked religious to others, no one really knew who you are, especially deep inside your heart.

@colson: How true. I’ve seen real cuckoo people in the Clinic. I know they’ve been depressed for a long time but at least they’re seeking treatment and if they snap and commit something bad, I’d understand. But this Melissa chick did not snap, because she continued her torture. And your story about the Netherland parents who cut up their kids into pieces? I can’t even begin to fathom it. I guess to be on antidepressants isn’t too bad after all, it may avoid or reduce the possibility of killings.

That person is totally twisted and fucked in the head. Even reading about what she did to that little girl make me sick to the stomach.
