Here, there are lots of Indonesian restaurants, Indonesian supermarkets, and Indonesian ingredients. Indonesians won't suffer from "homefoodsick" living here. People know Indonesia well (of course) and Bahasa Indonesia is even a compulsory subject for 6th and 7th graders! It’s the exact opposite from where I’m staying now (Melbourne). We went there in 2002 but it's already gone the following year. Sounds like you've picked the pefect location to live.
